Irritating Poem

You walk in the room
Like you’re the best
I would
Have to
Disagree

Funny but
Mean
Argumentative
Strong opinions

By the way
I really am
Not irritating
You are

Mock me
I mock you back
Laugh at me
And I might laugh back

All you talk about
Is one thing
All day long
I don’t think
You could go
Five minutes
Without talking
About this topic

I think
You need help
On how to be nice
You should ask
Emily
She will teach you

Over confident
Who honestly cares
If you are better than
Me
At writing
Grow up

I don’t need you
To tell me what I do wrong
Also I don’t care that
You think I am
Irritating
Also I don’t like to take
Crap from anyone
And I have already proved that
To you

When I talk out loud
Its bad
When you talk out loud
Its okay

You don’t like me
And I don’t like you
Try looking in a mirror
Maybe you’ll find
Just why
I don’t like you

  1. You've set up a strong contrast between yourself and your adversary. Anyone who reads this must take a look at themselves and any double standards they use against others.

  2. Haha, I Love This Peom With A Passion! This peom shows your strong feelings towards another person *haha* and I think if the person read this peom they would think twice about making you angry.

  3. Great job Abbey, I loved the poem. The way you went back and forth from you to them really was great. Becky is right about that person thinking twice.

  4. Abbey- as I have said many times, you truly are an ingenious poem writer. The emotions that you portray throughout the piece can really make someone think twice before they decide whether they should be mean to you or not. Overall this is the best poem that you have written! Nice job!
